About Advanced Counseling Services
 Advanced Counseling Services, LLC provides outpatient mental health counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families. We offer a broad range of services including behavioral modification, emotional regulation, social skills training, life transition support, relationship and marriage counseling. We provide services in our office, and limited services in home and surrounding areas. We service clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, behavioral management, anger management, violence intervention, divorce transition, family support, parenting, relationship and premarital counseling, and marriage counseling. 

Therapists are available to support client needs five days a week. We offer week day  and week night appointments to accommodate our client’s scheduling needs. We operate in all seasons and are only closed during national holidays and when the schools are closed for inclement weather. 

Pam is a 2006 graduate from Missouri Baptist University with a Masters of Science in Education with a concentration in counseling for licensure. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, and has over 14 years experience in providing counseling services to children, families, and individuals. Pam  is client centered, and believes that it is through unconditional positive regard and acceptance that helps clients begin to heal.
Our master’s level mental health counselors provide a full range of out-patient mental health services. Each licensed clinician has training in one or more specialties, allowing our team to offer an extensive range of mental health services .. A.C.S. was created out of the need for there to be a team approach to meeting clients as they are in their stage of change, and gently guiding them into the next level of self-awareness and behavioral improvement. 
Dora Mitchell, LPC, NCC
​Dora is a 2009 graduate from Quincy University with a Masters of Science in Education with a concentration in counseling for licensure. Dora is a  Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, and has over 19 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, and has over 12 years experience helping clients heal. She is a reality therapist at heart, and has found success working with adolescents, families, relationships, and marriages. Dora is experienced in ethnicity issues, and enjoys helping clients find balance and peace in their lives. 
Tiffany Ahern, Office Administrator 
Tiffany is a 2004 graduate from John Wood Community College where she received a certificate of completion in Microsoft Software. Tiffany has twelve years experience working in the human services field, more specifically, in medical records department, and as a personal assistant to an individual with disabilities. Tiffany is a joyful presence in our office, and her warmth and positive attitude are welcomed and cherished by our clientelle.

Judy Caldwell, LPC

Judy is a 1982 graduate from Northeast Missouri State University with a Masters of Arts in Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri, and has over 32 years of experience in the counseling profession.  She began her career as a school counselor, and worked in this capacity for 28 years. She received her licensure for professional counseling in 1999, and has over 17 years of experience in mental health counseling. She has great success in working with Marriage, Relationship, Family, and Adult Counseling. Judy is a wife, mother, and step-mother, and understands first hand the complexities of family life, and her clients find her to be open, caring, and accepting. Her person centered and accepting approach allow her to build a strong and positive rapport with clientelle. 
Dolly Lewis, LPC

Dolly is a 2009 graduate of Quincy University with a Masters of Science in Education in Counseling. Dolly is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri and has over 21 years experience working with children and their families. The last 10 years Dolly has worked as an Elementary School Counselor. Dolly has experience handling cases of abuse, trauma, and knowledge of the Judicial System. Dolly is client centered and focused on building a positive counseling atmosphere with children and their families. She believes that through perseverance and positive attitude obstacles in life can be challenged and overcome.
